Dear Families, players, friends,
Welcome back to Gosport FC for the 2015 season. This will be another exciting year ahead as we continue to grow our club and its reputation as one of the most professionally run Football Clubs in the Area. We are fielding 29 teams this season including development squads over 5 different leagues.
Again this just doesn’t happen, so the club would like to sincerely thank all Committee members, parents, players, sponsors, supporters of our great club. Without the help of an amazing number of volunteers, this could not be achieved. There is a great spirit and family atmosphere being built at the club which serves a greater purpose than just the children playing football.
One of our U14 Bullets players is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. What Jack and his family are going through, as you can imagine is horrendous and what makes it even sadder is that they aren't the only ones going through this. Somewhere along the way cancer will affect us all, either ourselves, loved ones, friends or family. Jack and his parents have met an amazingly family whose son Connor was diagnosed at the same time as Jack with a similar type of cancer. Sadly 3 weeks ago Connor had one of his lower legs amputated. His family are currently trying to raise enough money to get a decent prosthetic limb for Connor to keep him active. So if anyone can help and donate a little or share this link that would be fantastic, thank you.
